- POCOG signs MOU with ASEAN-Korea Centre for successful hosting of 2018 Winter Games

The PyeongChang Organizing Committee for the 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (POCOG) signed a memorandum of understanding with ASEAN-Korea Centre on July 19 with an aim to cooperate in successful hosting of the 2018 Winter Games.
Based on the MOU, the two organizations are expected to work closely with one another in raising public awareness of winter sports, through promoting PyeongChang 2018 and by utilizing international events and networks among ASEAN member nations.
The latest development is also expected to expand the Dream Programme participation, playing a part in POCOG’s effort to shape PyeongChang as the hub of winter sports in Asia.
