Sejong Soloists

On 12 December 2011, the renowned Sejong Soloists were appointed as PR Ambassador for the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games.
The news network CNN praised the Sejong Soloists as 'one of the world's best Ensembles'. The Sejong Soloists projected to create a string instrument orchestra began in 1995 when Professor Kang Hyo of Julliard School began inviting top performers from eight countries, including Korea.
Since then, the ensemble has held over 400 recitals in more than 100 cities around the world including the United States, Europe and Asia. The Sejong Soloists are the only Korean musicians that have been invited by the Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center for staging their own organis performances.
In addition, they have performed in various international stages such as the Alice Tully Hall of the Lincoln Center, the London Cadogan Hall, the Paris Salle Gaveau, Japan's Santori Hall, Beijing's NCPA Concert Hall and the National Arts Theatre of Taiwan. From 1997 to 2005, the Sejong Soloists performed as the lead chamber orchestra of the Aspen Music Festival. Between 2004 and 2010,s the ensemble has performed as the regular chamber orchestra for the Great Mountains Music Festival in PyeongChang.

Byung Ha Kwon

Byung Ha Kwon, the president of the 'World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations' was appointed as the honorary ambassador of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games on 25 April 2012.
The 'World Federation of Overseas Korean Traders Associations' was established in April 1981, primarily to enhance national prestige and trade promotion for global Korean traders.
Especially in 1983, he was the first foreigner to be entitled as the 'Dato,' equivalent to the earldom in Britain, in Malaysia.
