The Olympic Winter Games is the biggest celebration of winter sports around the world and is held every four years. Since 1994, the summer and winter editions of the Olympic Games have been held in alternate even years.

History of Korea in the Olympic Winter Games

Korea first participated in the Olympic Winter Games at the 5th Olympic Winter Games held in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in 1948. From St. Moritz 1948 to Vancouver 2010, Korea has participated in 17 editions of the Olympic Winter Games.
